Maria (Ea) was a girl in the first Daughters Sisters Project. She is an artist. Her story is in the book, Daughters of the Moon, Sisters of the Sun, by Linda Wolf & K. Wind Hughes. The Daughters Sisters Project (later Teen Talking Circles) is a non-profit founded in 1993 by Wolf & Hughes, to empower teen girls through supportive, girl-led Talking Circles. It focused on mentoring and fostering healthy transitions to womanhood, later expanding to include boys and becoming known as Teen Talking Circles.
